NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257
FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LONGHOPE Footpath No. DLH/17 (Part)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2020
On 26 April 2022 Forest of Dean District Council confirmed the above Order. The effect of the order as made is TO STOP UP The entire width of that length of LONGHOPE Footpath No.
DLH/17 running from OSGR SO68227 20368
(Point A) in a general north easterly direction approximately 19m to OSGR SO68241 20384 (Point B) as shown between Points A – B on the plan attached to the Order AND CREATE a new Footpath with an unenclosed width of 2m running for approximately 14m from OSGR SO68246 20347 (Point C) in a general east-north-easterly direction to OSGR SO68238 20345 (Point D) before continuing in a generally north-northwesterly direction to join the existing footpath for approximately 36m to OSGR SO68241 20384
(Point B) as shown between points C – D – B on the plan attached to the Order. A kissing gate is proposed at OSGR SO68249 20349 shown at Point E on the plan attached to this Order.

This order comes into force on the date on which the Gloucestershire County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of
these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which the Notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of schedule 14 to that Act.
